How to Create a New Job

After reading this, you will be able to create any type of job in Rundo. Every job in Rundo starts from the New Job drawer, whether it is a quick service call or a multi-day project.

Click New Job

Click the orange New Job button from the dashboard, Jobs page, or Schedule page.

Choose the job type

Select Service Call for same-day work or Project for multi-day jobs.

Select a trade

If your company has multiple trades, select the relevant trade to filter your price book.

Select or create a customer

Search for an existing customer or click Add New to create one inline.

Set the service address

The customer's address auto-fills. You can override it with a different service address.

Choose scheduling

Pick a date and time manually, or use the Smart Scheduler to find available slots.

Assign technicians

Select one or more technicians. The availability indicator shows who is free.

Click Create Job

Click Create Job. The job appears on the schedule and the assigned tech gets notified.

Pro tip

Set a priority level (P0 through P3) for urgent jobs. P0 and P1 jobs show a colored border on the schedule so your team can spot them instantly.
